About Me

I want to share a little about myself so you know where I’m coming from. I’m a stay-at-home mom who has a bachelor’s degree in Recreation Therapy. Not exactly related to photography… I always had an interest in photography, however, and a few years into my marriage while living in Las Vegas, I had the opportunity to take that interest to a more serious level. I found a job as a photographer’s assistant and was able to get trained by a very talented photographer. I really enjoyed his lessons on photography, the time we spent working together, and the vast knowledge he imparted. For the past seven years I have added to that knowledge in any way I can, reading countless books on the subject and working with many other photographers in my area. I now own a small photography business of my own that runs only by word of mouth.  Because what I truly love about photography, is the ability to capture the story of my own family. I treasure the pictures that I have of my kids, our interactions together, and their sweet personalities.  It’s so important to me to be able to document their lives (and our life), in this way. I want to offer all the information I have in my repertoire so that you, too, can create an album of treasured memories to last a lifetime.
